Education

After high school, I began my college journey at the University of Washington, where I struggled to understand as a first-generation student the new environment in higher education. During my sophomore year, I was struggling academically and debating taking time off. I was lucky to have a mentor who suggested I use a quarter to explore courses outside of my major and it helped me reconnect me with my studies. After graduating from the University of Washington, I decided to do a post baccalaureate program at UCLA which allowed me to discover where I wanted to direct my career. Afterwards, I started my Masters in Education program at the University of Arizona and graduated in 2020. Due to my career, I was able to re-enroll for another Masters Degree in Business Administration that I will graduate from Spring 2024.
