Description: Since 1996, LEAGUE Foundation has awarded 195 college scholarships totaling $423,500 to self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBTQ+) graduating US High School Students and or US Military Base High School students based on the following achievements: a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; significant involvement in community service; and acceptance to an accredited US junior college, four year college, or university.

Out to Innovate Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Stem Students

Description: The Out to Innovate⢠Scholarships, established in 2011, are intended for LGBTQ+ undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) programs. The scholarships are designed to promote academic excellence and increased visibility of talented LGBTQ+ students in STEM careers.

Point Scholarship

Description: Point Foundation (Point) is the nationās largest higher education scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students. Pointās multifaceted support of its scholarship recipients (āscholarsā) extends far beyond direct financial contribution toward the cost of their education. Each scholar is paired with a mentor and participates in leadership development programs and events.

eQuality Scholarship

Description: eQuality is the joint effort of a group of individuals and organizations based in the San Francisco Bay Area (see list on Home page). It began in 1989 as a scholarship program by Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s lesbian and gay employee group, now PG&E PrideNetwork. The following year, the Bay Area Network of Gay and Lesbian Educators joined the effort. Additional members have joined eQuality over the years, and more are always welcome.

Pride Foundation

Description: Pride Foundation provides essential financial resources and community support to LGBTQ+ student leaders across the Northwest. Since awarding our first scholarship in 1993, weāve awarded more than $7 million to more than 2,200 students in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
